A Life Well Lived, A Legacy Worth Carrying Forward: Honoring the Life and Work of Warner Mendenhall

Abstract:

There are some people whose impact is measured by their professional successes alone. An attorney might be remembered by their court victories, legislative wins, or legal outcomes. Then there are people like Warner Mendenhall, whose impact is measured in something far more meaningful: the lives he touched, the courage he inspired, and the hope he gave others when hope was in short supply.

Warner recently passed away after a courageous battle with colon cancer, leaving behind a grieving family, a legion of friends, and a freedom movement forever changed because of his presence. His passing represents not only the loss of a brilliant attorney and constitutional advocate, but also the loss of one of the most genuinely kind, selfless, and principled
human beings many of us have ever known.
